From the M6 junction 36, follow the A590 which becomes the A591 to Windermere (16 miles approx.), then turn left into Windermere village (signposted Bowness & The Lake), through the traffic lights and take the second turning on the right hand side. Look out for the Hooked restaurant and Hackney and Leigh estate agents on the corner of Old College Lane.
