Start your day with a freshly cooked to order full Cumbrian breakfast, or choose one of our lighter options, if you prefer including vegetarian or vegan.
Many of our guests choose to stay with us because of our traditional breakfast. Many of the items we offer are homemade, including homemade bread, granola, roasted fruit and yogurt with fruit compote. All of our ingredients are locally sourced from the Lakes and some from Windermere Village as we support our local high street to help sustain our economy.
We offer vegetarian and vegan options as standard also gluten free bread and sausages are available on request.
The spacious grand dining room overlooks the garden and is the perfect setting to enjoy all the wholesome delights on offer. Firstly, choose from the wide range from the cold buffet table. Fresh coffee and tea will be served at your table. Choose from our menu when you’re ready to order your freshly cooked breakfast. We cook the breakfast fresh to order in order of arrival, just relax and enjoy the setting.
Our jams and sauces are locally supplied by Hawkshead Relish Company situated nearby in the Village of Hawkshead. The Hawkshead Relish Company is an artisan producer of award-winning preserves, using only quality and locally sourced ingredients. All are free from additives, nuts & gluten and suitable for vegetarians.
