Ceremonies

We are perfectly located to hold a small intimate ceremony. We are centrally located in the village but yet tucked away just enough to create a completely self-contained ceremony either in our beautiful garden or in the event of rain we have a large grand reception room big enough to hold small intimate ceremonies. Your host Mike is a fully trained Celebrant and will help you plan and conduct your ceremony. We also offer Marriage proposal packages. Please contact us for details.

About the Hotel: We have 9 bedrooms able to accommodate 18 people staying for a minimum of 2 nights booking the entire hotel with use of the house and gardens including a fully licensed bar. A maximum of 30 total guests can be present at the ceremony.

We are able to conduct many different ceremonies including Weddings, Renewal of wedding Vows. some of these ceremonies are often linked to special anniversary celebrations and can include blessing of the wedding rings and lighting a unity candle in memory of loved ones. Many more types of ceremony can be conducted by our very own celebrant and host Mike.

Mike who is co-owner with his wife Lynn is a fully trained civil celebrant and will conduct the ceremony taking you through the planning and arranging of vendors to the special day itself. 

You can rest assured you are central to one of the most ore inspiring places on earth with dramatic mountainous scenery and beautiful lakes. You are guaranteed the most impressive wedding photographs imaginable. Very few locations can boast a truly world-class experience both from our highly rated guest house with hospitality you simply cant beat to the splendour of the Lake District National Park.
